Notes from the AGM:-

Here are some of the main points from the recent AGM.......
1. Six rounds this year with your best four to count.

2.Control tyres as per nationals...Schumacher or BB Mini spikes or Schumacher Darts.

3.Entry fee is £10 per class, (£12 if booking in after the deadline, it was suggested £15 but on reflection I think this may be a bit too much) Juniors are free again.

4.Entry will be by an on line form (big thanks to Craig Woods who is setting this up for me). Pre pay only this year, you will need to pay by pay pal or bacs (details on request) and please put your name and round as a reference if paying by PP, trying to work out who's email address goes to who's entry can be a pain. ...Last year it was a nighmare catching up with people who owed. You have until the Friday before an event at 12pm to book. Entries can be placed after this but at £12 as I will be doing the downloads and sorting heats on a Friday. Late entries MAY be seeded depending on the ability and how the heats work out.

5.The funds will be split 80/20 in the clubs favour, at the end of the day as long as there is money to cover trophies then the idea is to give clubs as much as possible.

6. Heat seeding will be by F grade and championship position.

7. Format of the meetings will run as follows...
8.30 booking in closes follwed by drivers briefing.
9.00 Practice in heat order of 3/4 minutes depending on numbers.
10.00 Heats start.
We do need to be hotter on starting a meeting, once it's running people will keep to time but we do need your help by turning up on time, booking in and turning up for the briefing when called.

8.It is hoped to have a referee for all heats/finals. If we have numbers we may well pick one driver from each heat to referee and not marshal, so drivers may have to cover another point.

9.Marshalling - We will be trying a similar system trialled at the nationals. You marshal the heat after your race, then stay at that point until the following heat has completed their one lap warm up and lined up on the grid, It is hoped this will prevent the swap over happening while cars head out on their warm up laps and gives the drivers coming down from the rostrum more than enough time to unplug their cars and get ready to head out for marshalling. If your in two classes and need help to cover a marshal point, YOU will need to find someone, we are not constantly asking for volunteers.

10. Trophies will be for top three in each final, top three juniors in each class, TQ in each class. Championship trophies will be for top 15/20 depending on numbers during the year.

11. Something I actually forgot to bring up at the AGM but has been pointed out to me by the BRCA, there should be one additional point added for TQ.
