worn tyres and camber

I've put the crappy tyres that came with the car on and been outside for a whack around. What I've noticed is that the inside of the tyres are completely worn, but when I look at the car when it's sitting flat, the tyres seem kind of even on the ground, but obviously when driving they're not.

Just wondered if anyone had any setup tips for the camber?

I've got the front of the car so it sits with the driveshafts slightly pointing downward, and the back so that they're level.

Should I be getting the tyres flat on the ground when the car is stood still, or when the suspension is down.

You need to set the camber static, and at race weight with the front shafts dipped inwards 'Just', like a 'V' and the rear shafts level then use your camber guage to get -1 deg (top of tyre leaning in towards car) and watch for the front toe angle as this will change as you alter the camber. I would suggest that you try 0deg toe at the front then once you have been out on the track, re-adjust to suit.

So, if I've got this right, the aim is that when you're going round a corner, the outer wheels should be as flat as possible as to get more grip? obviously without the wheels being on their edges when you're driving down the flat.

Something like that yes, It's all about compromise. Generally you will get more wear on the inner half of the tyre just like a real car.
