The front and rear ends are pretty much the same, the parts that changed for the WE were...

Chassis and topdecks
Centre slipper assembly
Angled left steering bellcrank and rack with wider spaced pivot holes
Front and rear centre driveshafts

Basically if it's got the saddle layout it's a WE

I think the standard BJ4 had a 72T spur but you could squeeze a 75T in (i think, going back a few years now and I have had over 1/2 dozen more kits since then). The 78T on the WE made gearing choices better.

Correct

You can also fit an 81t on the WE which is what I use

Yeah thats right, was thinking the 78T wasn't as big as I thought. B44.1 comes with 84T.

Hi,
I have 2 BJ4WE's and enough spares to build another 1.. 1 of them is fairly worn but the other I built new for the F2 Finals in September since then it's done 2 rounds at worksop and a handfull of club meetings.. I've just recieved a 502x but am waiting for a chance to build it and send the shell off to be painted then I'll be selling both cars and all bits.. So If you dont have 1 sorted by end of Jan give me a shout I'm sure we can strike a deal..
