Default New arrival !

Mr Postie just dropped off my Slim 4 conversion.

All I can say is the quality looks amazing, totally amazing ! The chasis is simply a work of art !
It looks like a real quality item, from how it's packaged right down to the shell. Can't wait to build it up.

Now where did I put my spare Losi shocks ????

you'll love it Andy.

Dont forget you need the shorter rear shock shaft, not the same one as you would use on a XX4.

What area are you from? Where do you race?

Ah..

I was going to rob the shocks from my BK2, are they the right length ?
I seem to recall buying some different length shock shafts for the XXX4 once upon a moon, they are still in their bags somewhere ! Any idea what length I need ?

I race (occasionally !) in the NE, batley / york and the other NE regionals.

Cheers. Andy.

ALL Losi 2wd shocks are the same length, whether you have a XXX, BK2 or a XXXcr.

I must admit I do like tub chassis - and a carbon tub is a great mix of the two.

Keep hold of those shocks brian, I need to know which shocks fit properly but I do need some.

The tub chassis is awsome, assuming you velcro the shell on everything inside stays nice and dry and clean. Definatly a bonus when racing on grass over the winter months

Only problem is that the BK2 and CR rear bodies are 0.9 and the S4 use's 1.2, the rear shafts are correct at 1.0 and also the front complete shock would fit fine

Managed to find some of the longer rear losi shock bodies in the bottom of my pit box, so the Slim 4 is finally sporting a decent set of proper shocks !

Jimmy, are you running one at the Supercup ?

And a big thanks to Jonathan for all the help, and posting me out some screws to help me finish things off !

Still hasn't turned a wheel yet, but is looks amazing stood still. It's sort of a mix of all the best things out there today, with a totally different chassis obviously, but i can't help thinking the mix of transmission / suspension & chassis has to be a winning combination, the suspension geometry feels much better on the bench, certainly reminds me of my trusty old XX4.

Yeah get some photos up Andy. I am racing the Keen Hawk (indifferent sparrow) at the supercup - should be a laugh anyway.
