Default YZ2Cal2 Wet/Damp astroturf setup discussion

Hi guys, I didnt put this thread in setups as I didnt want it to getlost and it doesnt seem to get added to all that often. In saying that, admins feel free to move if you think its relevant to do so

SO, EOS in the wet on astroturf got me thinking and dashing straight to our astro track, in the rain!

The big questions - softer better? Standup gearbox, raised suspension or? More weight, less weight, chassis sides removed? Battery taped? So many options!!

Stiffer better? Use a DTM2?

Open to all opinions and I know there are plenty of them!!

Cheers!!

I used the truck LD gearbox and the car was super well balanced, consistent and east to drive fast.

Paul Cromton also used this to gain 2nd place qualifier behind Michal Orlowski, with the addition of a new chassis.

I'll get a setupsheet together.

Arena33 astro track was awesome in the wet, by the way.

I'm curious to know, if given the choice, would you go for a DTM2/3 or CAL2/3 on wet astro?
