Default your type

it depends on what you plan to do with the car, its no point buying a durango to thrash and bash or to buy maverick strada xb to go racing, and whats your budget?

The most popular ones at the moment are the Durango 410, Schumacher Cat SX3, team associated B44.1 and tamiya Trf 511/502.
All good cars, check your local club and see what's popular and has good parts backup. I have owned all of above except the Tamiya. I find the catSX3 a good all rounder and find it easy to drive. I found the Durango a bit too aggressive for my style. I did like the B44 when I had it, somewhere between the cat and Durango for drive ability for me. Different cars do suit people differently though.
Good luck with what you ultimately go for.

Have a look at the Kyosho Lazer FS2/FS2-sp ... strong, agile, easy to maintain / build / live with, great to drive and reactive enough to setups that you can make it feel however you want (within reason of course).

Not the cheapest but most of my car is around 3 years old including the transmission gears!

Default CAT SX3 or 410v3

I am having the same problem and i cant decide what to go for. The Dex 410v3 was first on my list but i cant get hold of one now as i have left it late so i am now toying with getting the cat but its very hard to pick the right one. there does not seem to much luv for the cat on oople so should i get the b44.1 Maybee i should toss a coin and be done with it.

Don't discount the Kyosho Lazer FS2 until you've driven one!

After changing from the Tamiya 511 which was one of the best cars iv ever driven to the SX3 a few months ago I feel confident in saying if you give one ago you wont be disappointed I certainly haven't and the S1 version is a good price to if you can't stretch to the carbon car
