North East 1/10th Off Road Regional RD4 2wd Batley SUNDAY 10th July at Spenborough Sports
Batley Buggy Club Spenborough Pool and Sports Complex Bradford Road Liversedge West Yorkshire WF15 6LW Track is about 3 miles from J26 of M62. The track is now an astro-turf surface. Cafe and Toilet facilities are available in the Sports Complex. Facilities in the sports complex are available if drivers bring their family with them and want to swim etc - website will give further details of what is available. . The meeting will go ahead tomorrow as planned. We'll try work though it so to miss the little rain forecast for afternoon. Forecasts we are looking at all say different things right now, so we'll all hope for decent weather.
Track build will go ahead from 7.45-8am. Swimming pool sports centre gates don't open until 8am, so aim to get there for then, rather than queuing up beforehand. There is very limited waiting space, so you'll be waiting on the main road blocking track builders access. We will have access to park and pit on the field. Booking in and practice as soon as we are setup, say 8.30am. 4 min timed practice rotations. We'll aim for 9.30am drivers briefing, and get racing online for ~9.45am. There will be a non-regional heat. Hot food and toilets are in the swimming pool. Mcdonalds and supermarket is a few miles down road in Heckmondwyke. Petrol station, cash machine and shop down road less than a mile. There is a new trampoline park less than a mile away if anybody is bringing family along who is not racing, as well as the swimming pool.
