Default Trakpower Photo Competition - Winners Announced!

Dear oOple Members

The TrakPower competition has drawn to a close, and what a competition it was. We've been following the progress and admiring the photos here in the office for the duration of the contest - some serious talent has been on show! The criteria weren't the easiest... finding a decent sunset has been difficult enough but composing the shot with your four-whelled weapon of choice was even harder. Credit to all all those who made the effort, we feel there wasn't a bad entry!

Special mentions to 'sm0kin' for artistic flair and bringing a chuckle to all, 'mr. ed' for a very dramatic setting and 'kentech' for a beautiful setting.

Ok.. the winners as chosen by the oOple community...

THIRD PLACE
RcPenguin

Many congratulations on a stunning entry. Great choice of location, beautiful lighting and reflection. Very well done!

We have great pleasure in giving you your prize of a TrakPower 3200 saddle or stick arrangement pack and a T-shirt.

SECOND PLACE
rcnews.com.ar

A seriously impressive photo! Brilliant use of light and lots of action. Huge congratulations.

You will receive a well deserved TrakPower battery of your choice, TrakPower balancer and T-shirt.

FIRST PLACE
mole2k

One of those rare photographs that makes you want to be there. This image has it all, well arranged, beautifully lit and captivating. The clear winner in what has been a tough competition.

Your large amount of awesomeness rewards you with the following complete lipo setup:
2x TrakPower packs of your choice
PitPro Charger
TrakPower Balancer
T-shirt

Very, very many congratulations to our three winners. All entries demonstrated real skill with a camera and we're sure all of you in the community have enjoyed following the competition as much as we have.

Many thanks for oOple for hosting the competition, and to all the entrants.

-All at TrakPower

Many thanks to Trakpower for making this possible and giving something back to the community - I hope the winners will enjoy their well deserved prizes and I'm sure we'll have some more competitions in the future.

But thanks again to Trakpower for all their help.

Yay Trakpower goodies!

Thanks for all the votes folks I was quite lucky when I read about the competition that night I had that awesome sunset so I was able to go out straight away and take shots.

Awesome pictures. Is a larger resolution picture available without the numbering?

i took a RC pic with a reasonable sunset last weekend in Germany
bit late for the comp but you might want to see it anyway

thats not been tweaked in any way, thats exactly as it came out of the camera!
tbh i'm glad it managed to capture the colour as thats often lost in pics
phil over at Neo-buggy has posted a few more in the gallery section of his site here -

rightfully winners and splendid competition.

You guys (Trakpower and oOple) might think about doing this initiative more ogten. Some real gems where discovererd here.

another (might be stupid) question: is there a place where we can find some high-resolution-copies of these pictures. I might be overlooking them but can't seem to find them.
I really would like some of those as wallpaper on my laptop.
