hence my plan to retrofit something different that I can maintain currently

thanks for help guys

Dave,

Just sent you a PM with a way of doing this with TM4 gear diffs and a bit of an explanation.

Hope this helps out?

Cheers

The late X10/X11 diffs were pretty much bomb proof. I believe the gears were OEM'd from Alex Racing.

Team Xtream seem to be hit and miss there's a few people on Facebook that have had stuff fast and other that have had a few weeks wait. I'd say it's with a try ordering and pay through PayPal then if it dose t arrive then at least you know you'll get your money back.

The Alex Racing Barracuda is over ten years old, and were imported into the UK by Centrepoint, which closed down 8 years ago. You are going to be pretty lucky to find ARD parts in the UK.

There is a wide range of shaft drive touring and drift cars available now, it would be more useful to experiment with some of those rather than try and find gears that are rarer than Predator ones.

Dave,

Mitch took some measurements I think of the Pred stuff. Maybe upload them on here see if anyone who has bevel diffs could compare sizes ?? save us forking out for loads of different diffs to try ?

Just a thought but hobby King do a copy of the old team c 4wd. I believe it has the same diffs as the tm4. They will be very cheap.
