Default Mid motor conversion

Ive been off work this week and got a little board so I made this

it has the ansmann X4TE rear with the Hobao H2 front.

I made the chassis in one, and used the 4WD side pods as strentheners
and installed Durango 410 rear drive shafts with Durango hubs

That should be a good proof of concept for the Hobao, even if the weight looks a little far forward...?

By the way, how did you get the H2 to work for you? I recall you had some grip issues with the gear diff at the Kampenhout GP earlier this year?

Hi mate
changed to a ball diff on the h2 problem solved.

I ran the car on Friday night at Ribble vally, this was a carpet track. once the setup was close it put a respectable 18 laps in,

I then ran the car on sunday at Southport in doors. and put the car in to the b final q3 and finished 4th. I found the car very stable and very easy to push steering was very sharp and positive and was impressed with how flat the car jumped, you could attack the corners hard without risk of flipping over. I ran a cab forward body what helped the handling

madmax: how thick was the chassis and how did you make the kickup? Thanks.

Chassis was 2mm and put the kick up in using a vice and a spare chassis to get the exact angle
