Good day today again guys, great work! Would deffo go for an earlier start next time though, was a shame to see so many people miss the finals (not all by accident like Jimmy!!).

Also, whoever was marshalling the 4wd B by the table top, forgot to ask what had disconnected on my car (blue and red Cat), can you let me know if it was the switch, or a battery connector?

Really good track, was one of the few tracks I could race on. Well done, I love a track like that.

Can't wait for the next one. Good call on doors open early.

Another cracking track from Bury although getting in as late as I did was not good! Earlier start would be great next time please...??

Ended up 5th in 2wd and 2nd in 4wd and really enjoyed the racing overall.

Great to see a Cat 1, 2, 3 in the 4wd 'A' final

I thank you all for coming and would love to see u all next time? We can only get better as time goes on. We didnt even dream of the numbers we have had over the last few meetings so thats why its 10 oclock doors open. I think now as there are all you lot wanting to race with us then we will open early. We are hear for you all to enjoy the racing and if thats a early start then thats what we will do.
As they say, if you build it they will come.
I will tell you the truth now, as other clubs where running I thought I should not run the same day as those due to drivers wanting to race there! How wrong was I! I was expecting about 40 ish today and if I could I would of shuck everybodies hand today. Today ment more to me than you think. I am still abit mixed about the date we have clashing with Batley Supercup so you all need to let me know. If we have more than 40 then we would be happy.
Let me know you thoughts please?

Excellent meeting again.
An early start i have to agree would be alot better. having to leave early for the family is a bit of a stinker.
Thanks all involved, good track well run

Hope everyone enjoyed the day

The next meeting will be running as planned March 15th BUT we will be starting much earlier simply because of the numbers we are getting.

I would like to say doors will be open at 8am.. racing to start at 9/9.30.

Roger/woOdy will be im sure confirming this...

Thanks again to everyone for coming, and the much appreciated crowd who help set up and clear away (u know who you are!) and of course to Roger for running the meet!

Welldone to the winners of the BMAX and B4!

Cheers
Nick

No, Nick has it wrong.
We don't expect as many next meeting so it will be 10 o'clock as usual.
And as far as the 115 ??? I think he thought there were ten in a heat.
(Number ten transponder should be fixed for the next one)

Great day though, Thanks, shame about the lateness. My fault. I should have made it only three rounds and finals. or perhaps give up the practice time ???

Woody, I'll be there for the next one rather than Supercup. If Bury don't run, im still not going to Supercup.

How about opening your booking in for it now, see what it brings?

Woody totally agree with Chris

Can't see the point in travelling a further distance when this is as good as it gets - you guys have a very good understanding and if there is anything on the track that is a bit dodgy like the corner on to the straight - you simply take it out

Will defo be at the next one, looking forward to it.

Get a list up asap and get everyone to book in early to get numbers

i really liked the amount of run time we got yesterday!!!
Thats the only thing that put me off doing a bit of electric after coming over from the rally cross. But i got almost the same track time yesterday as i would doing the rallycross. Was well pleased.

Please dont drop rounds or practice, a earlier start would be better.

Just my thoughts though.

Any one agree?

And again awesome meeting!!!

cheers

With regards to start times, I can only make it because it starts later, it's a 2 hour+ drive each way for me and after finishing work about 4.30am I still only get 3 hours max in the house for a 10am start. I didn't get home until after 9pm but like I said earlier start I wouldn't be able to attend at all.

I don't hate Batley , but yeh I want to get Bury like the good ole' days of having a huge following. Its just then the catchment area was smaller so it was week after week, now it seems to matter what clashes more as many travel a long way for it and so it isn;t week after week, yet.

Infact thinking about it, we used to race on about 4 days per week at various local clubs, and I recall Leigh getting 8 heats regular and being able to race from 7pm through to 12pm on a Friday night. How was this possible? I know Roger had big involvment in this durings its prime too. I wonder if this is something for Bury????? Perhaps its a bad idea, but i thought id air it.

I havent raced for around 15 years (i discovered beer at that point!) but after coming down and watching the racing yesterday I have to give it another go! So ive just ordered a Cat and im gonna give it some stick! I was involved at Leigh years ago and it was always busy, if Bury can keep up the quality tracks and turn outs like yesterday then it would be great, well done fellas!
So if it means anything, im another number?!?! ...(well give me 12 months to build the thing!)

Ill be the one with the cat on its roof! See you soon.

again thanks to woody and crew for another fantastic day's racing.
shame i bust my losi in the 1st round so had to do the rest of the day with my d4 which wasnt set up at all.
the truck race was the best indoor's racing ive had in a long time and i even did nearly the same amount of laps with my slash then i did with my d4!
