In heat 2 on Sunday there were a couple of preds the one that was really quick could pull 3-6 M on me on the flat corners he just struggeld a little with the table top and the small double single.
Driving a pred I think is still the same you drive it like you stole it on the flat stuff but you only give it 80% on the rough stuff !

And back then you had to worry about stripping diffs etc etc ! You used to have 2-3 diffs pre built for each meeting. All that has been sorted now! With the right track and the right hands I dont think much could keep pace with a pred !

" cant belive I just said that But I loved that car just couldnt afford back then to keep running one ! "

and thats having driven most Cats/Yoko/Losi/ etc etc .

Keep at it GUYS !

No problem Ben, just tell Gary how you really feel about him, I'm sure he'll understand.
being gay is accepted these days, you just have to come out with it, even if he doesn't feel the same for you. It will be hard for you but hey, we're here for you!

Any port in a storm eh Ben.

Which one of you guys was it giving Jimmy & I a run for it in the final?

I spent some time watching Ed running the car, it looked like preds always have been, fast & on edge.

Like Bondy hinted, looked like you need to give it only 90% and let the inherent speed in the car do the work.

Cool I will be doing a few regionals so plan on using it there but my x10 suffered a bit with gears etc so just wanted to get an idea of durablility as EPO is a good test of that.

We did take a prototype X11 there last year battered the hell out of it. Launched off jumps etc and it survived for half a day and that was in the pouring rain. So pouring that they cancelled the meeting.
