Apologies to those who travelled a long way and found last nights racing disrupted by our neighbours next door. We only found out about this ourselves @ 6.30 last night.

On a brighter note, I think I've found something to go round our track almost as good as a B4 - it's a T4!

Drop Inn Racing are hosting a special Children in Need race night on Friday 20th November. Doors will be open from 6pm, and will probably close around midnight or later! Plan is to arrive when you can and stay as long as you want. See our website for further details.

Sounds like fun - hopefully you'll have slightly better spotters to help out with the lap timing than you had last Wednesday...

[Quick recap:
The A final last Wednesday had 6 cars, of which there were 2 identical Losi cars and 3 identical others (2 Associateds belonging to Mark Penney and a Cat painted in homage to him). One particular caller quite often missed the numbers on the cars, and was occasionally flummoxed when 3 or 4 cars would go past at the same time, many or all of which looked the same...we haven't a clue who won...]

Won't even be trying that again - 1/2 the cars in the A Final the exact same colour scheme! Think it's time for an AMB or equivalent system.

Other highlight of the night was a famous oOple Tamiya "mole" racing a B44 - what's happening there then? Will there be a new Tamiya front shock tower next Friday or a new B44?? We'll have to wait and see...

Shock tower about £8 from fiber-lyte, B44 about £270.

My bank balance dicates the former option

Just a quick post to say I'm looking forward to tonight's Children In Need race night at the Drop Inn.

Think I might even risk the BJ4...! *

*(backstory - I've broken it every time I've raced it in Craigavon)

A big thank you to all who supported our BBC Children In Need event last night. Especially to those who travelled a distance - it's a long way from Belfast / Enniskillen / Dublin.

The total raised on the night for Children in Need was £150 - great!

Our usual fortnightly club racing kicks off again this Wednesday 25th Nov, 7-10 PM.

Have to congratulate Ed on a great nights Craic.....sorry I had to leave early and I would have loved to see that number 3 on my car as I seem to never get higher than 4th in Fivemiletown........ lol
Credit to the Dropinnracing club for coming up with the idea and I'm sure if those who couldn't have made it want to make a contribution to "Children in Need", they still can do so and help not only this fantastic cause but also highlight RC Racing in this wee country.
So if you would have loved to have been in Craigavon last night to add your support and couldn't, then I'm sure Andrew would be more than happy to accept your cash/cheque if it was left in his shop.

I enjoyed the racing last night it was good. I recon the A-Final should of been 15min, 7min just dissappeared before we had even gotten going! Mark, Andy and myself must of run near 15min anyway after the final.

There's always C - borrow a B44 from noreargrip! Only a matter of time before Team Associated get a new member and you know it!

Yeah, I have to admit I would be extremely tempted to buy one although I think if I was gonna get a new car I would keep the 501x now and buy a B4 especially for craigavon.

Has to be a big thanks to Clogher Valley Model Car Club for their support over the past year since we started up in Craigavon. Before we all left last night at 1am, we filled out our BRCA Club Membership forms for 2010. So after CVMCC flying the off-road flag on their own for so long, there will be another BRCA affiliated off-road club in N.Ireland very shortly!

Woo, bring back the regionals!

Get into gear now and build that outdoor astro track! You got the perfect venue there with the ability to have inside pitting with power and in the event of a washout then you always have the astro hall indoors!

We had 1 or 2 people leave in gifts even though they were not able to race - much appreciated, and if anyone else wants to drop something in to Rennicks Modeltune that would be gratefully received as well.

Good to see that Cat jumping well last night by the way Jim!

For those who can make it, we are racing as usual tonight, 23rd December, at Drop Inn Racing, Craigavon. We have 1 or 2 guests expected (no, not Santa!) and there could be an interesting battle or two, just like the old days!
