Website Problems...

They do say that it never rains but it pours....

Just to stop any tongues wagging (as they do nowadays when a shop is closed for more than 5 minutes it seems) and put the record straight. Our website is down currently and we had a power cut yesterday, we are still here, going as strong as ever and NO we have not closed down!!

On top of the family issues we have recently had, we experienced the above mentioned power cut yesterday at the shop at approx 11am, which we "thought" (and was told) would be resolved fairly quickly. Well, power was eventually restored at 4:30pm yesterday!! (we called in extra staff and ALL mail orders recieved were still processed and despatched on time - just - so those who ordered should still have recieved their goods as usual this morning)

When the power came back on, we then discovered that at the same time our server hosting our shop website had gone down too (not connected to the power cut). We were given estimations that this would be resolved within a few hours, sadly, the server is still out of action and the earliest we expect to be back online is early this afternoon (possibly as late as tommorow morning though) after all data files etc are restored.

Anyone who needs to place an order (urgent or not) is welcome to either call us by phone or email with your requirements directly to sales@dms-racing.com. If you are an existing customer just give us your name and postcode and we will have the rest of your details in your customer account file, however if you are a new customer or wish to use new/different payment details, please add a contact telephone number to your email (and a suitable time to call you back if required) and one of our staff will contact you to obtian your payment details securely by phone.

We apologise for the inconvenience (it could not have come at a worse time for oursleves) and we hope to have normal service back up and running as soon as possible.

I am pleased to report that the shop website is back up and running now at present and we "hope" this should be a permenant fix to the issue, although we have been warned that there might be some slight hiccups for the remainder of this evening but hopefully nothing that will affect our visible public pages for more than just a few moments........

Everyones order that was "emailed" or "called" in today was succesfully depsctahed on time in tonights post for you all.
