Default Best tape for protecting shells

All, what tape do you use on the inside of shells to protect them? Is insulation tape or glass tape best?

tank tape, the silver stuff, like sticky backed foil! If you want it to not get rubbed off

chassis tape is good for protecting areas that rub too dave

yeh, the clear stuff you put under your chassis to stop it scratching, have a look on pdub site.

I guess you need to be careful with this as it would remove the paint if you take it off?

Silver Foil Lagging Tape. You can get a massive role from some pipe fitting merchants such as Pipe(line)Centre or BSS. Brill stuff. . .especially as i get it free
