Default Liqud mask and spray can

Well im in need of a shell for my micro, and need it mounted by thursday, so I'm going to have to do some painting my self as itd be unfair to ask any painter to design in that time frame.

So first of all I'm not too experienced with painting, I'm going to go with red and White ( close as I can get to my current scheme). I'd like orange but need to keep costs down, spray cans seem quite expensive, unless someone can point me to some cheaper options?

Do I need to prep the shell or paint in anyway? Tips here would be nice!

I hear liquid mask is very good, where can I source this and how am I best to use it?
Should I be ok to freehand a design, or would I be better at looking for some templates?
Any info would be appreciated!
Cheers!

there is a basic step by step on using liquid mask here
http://www.rcsgraphicworx.co.uk/howto_liquidmask1.htm

as for spray cans, i don't use them so can't offer any advice apart from warm them up first to help with atomization of the paint.

you can buy mask from my site. i sell 8oz bottles if 16 is too much although they aren't up on the site yet so just give me a shout if you like. i have a few paint masks on the site also that i can adjust the size of to suit your needs or create new ones also.

Same as Jon, stand the cans in some warm water to increase the internal pressure, can will last longer and spray nicer.

Personally, if your in a rush, by some templates from Jon, use the window masks, spray away in nice light coats.
