I will have finished work for xmas so I'm planning to be there to set up the track around 12ish if anyone else fancies a practise session. I may even nip for a bit of lunch and a pint at the pub, let me know.

All,

Just so you know I will be getting to the club this Wed about 10.30 am ish. The plan is to turn the carpet and to set-up an extreme track with a couple of new feature. Any help would be great

Also I just finished cutting up the pieces for a new ramp which will need to be assembled in situ.

See you there..

Big Thanks to the Mansfield club for putting on the event last night!
Sorry I couldn't help pack the track away but my pit crew required sleep, she didn't make it out of the car park before she'd dropped off.

I enjoyed the track and its new features, a couple of upgrades would be:

Move the Wall of Death to the middle of the left hand side and angle it towards the rostrum so you can see it from anywhere on the rostrum.

Don't have the jump that was facing away from you straight into a corner, it makes it really hard to judge distance and getting it wrong put cars onto the straight.

If you could, putting the two big jumps back to back would be better so you can have a down slope (or have a down slope ramp, it really helps for a more consistent drive) rather than a flat landing.

Also. Could you get a lift installed from the ground floor?

Thanks for the time and effort involved by the people who put on the meeting.

Cheers guys, was a good laugh helping set-up and test the track yesterday. Unfortunatly a radiator pipe jumped out of nowhere and broke my car in practice

Hopefully my brother in law will use my car there in the near future.

Thanks again
