XB4 16 shell

Does anyone know if the older shell fits on the 2016 model?

'15 spec shell does except the post hole is slightly different

the 15 shell fits but it was a little short at the rear. (didn't completely cover the side pods ) my shell was a penguin one though so not sure if that would make a difference.
