Depending on money you want to spend..

Check out the absima models, I've got the cr4t and find it really good paid around 120 I think but you can get the lower version for about 50 I think

Hi,

Were you looking for sticks or wheel?

I have the Absima mid range one (C34PO or something) and it is great. My son has the basic Absima one and it also works great but with less adjustability on ranges etc

No 4WD because nothing lives up to my original Optima. Until now maybe?...

This is for my son who is wanting to start to get into racing, he has 2 stick transmitters (a kyosho on from a rtr kit and an old futaba). He wants to try a wheel but I am reluctant to spend a fortune as the wheel might not suit him and there is always the chance that racing might not be for him. Once he has decided on stick or wheel and shows he is gonna stick to the racing I don't mind spending a bit more at a later date.

Forgot to mention I have 3 kids and never give one without the others so a £100 transmitter will effectively cost me £300

If you want to try a cheap 2.4ghz wheel, maybe post in the wanted section for a Durango tx and RX? They come with their rtr kits, so I guess there's a few laying around unused and they seem pretty decent, I've already sold mine (i use sticks) but they seem to go for around 15-20 quid on eBay.
