You could but you need to polish the hell out of it, the better it goes to them the better the finished product

Hi Daz,

Peaky is right. You need to polish and smooth out any marks. If you dont you will see every scratch/mark as anodising does not hide marks only colours them.

You would be able to HYDRO DIPPED them though. But as above you will need to get all the marks out for a better finish.

I spent a lot of time rubbing out and polishing up the chassis ready for the HYDRO DIPPING.

Hope that helps matey......

Default Chrome Purple Plates.

Hi zzzzzzzzubbb,

Sorry for delay. Not been on for a couple of weeks. The plates are wrapped in chrome purple.

The chassis is now complete and should be with me this week. Then the build can start.

While I have been waiting for the chassis, I have been building/Restoring another cougar. This is almost complete so will post pics over the next couple of days.

Hi all,

Chassis is back along with the motor plates. Once sorted how to sort pics I will show all.

I will sick with the purple chrome plates for now, but both look cracking.

Hi all,

Been trying to sort pics most of the day. Here goes with them. Here are the chassis and motor plates hydro-dipped.

A tiny difference from the first pics. This is the original chassis from first pics.
