my first cougar mk1 was a full kit that I bought brand new, still have the manual but unfortunately I was only 15 at the time so the box got binned, it was 1 of the first into New Zealand and obiously they still had some topcat chassis to get rid of as that's what was in the kit.

I had a few friends that had topcats and they did the cougar front end conversion, mine went through several changes over its life time including the long front shock conversion, mms layshaft and then mk1 slipper, then full shotgun conversion which was done when I got my first cougar 2. Also had ball raced steering added and full works rear suspension before being retired when I change brands to traxxas
