Default Bitten by the vintage bug!

Just a quick hello from South Wales. Used oople for a few years now for info and tips so thought it was time to introduce myself , added a couple of pics of some yok's I have in my collection and the blame for my vintage money pit lies squarely with timmy from Saundersfoot rc club . Hope to post more in the future thanks Andrew.

Hi Peakey 3m from memory , I have bought several yok parts off you on ebay . The 91 was timmy 's runner now mine as he has a real problem (as you know) with collecting / hoarding yokomo 's.

Very nice, did you do the Welsh league in the 90's as you would have seen my YZ10 do the two events I used it at plus Belsten's.

No never did any welsh events only did very few club events. Same old story discovered girls, booze and cars and the rc racing was lost. Been back for a few years now and same as everybody else of our age now have the money to buy the cars I lusted after . Also technology has come on so far its a much easier hobby/sport to have these days.

Bit of a more up to date pic of the 94 runner with its more modern counterparts , and yes I know my colour choice is a bit boring but I like blue !. gives good comparison of modern and vintage.

He he, boy i could tell you some stories, girls, booze, waking up in rooms I dont recall but all round the uk when doing all the races. If you can learn to drive an rccar drunk and make the A finals then sober youll do much better. Well thats me in a nutshell turn up the night before, have a laugh, find a lady, have drinks and wake up with enough time to spare to book in. I miss a that.
