SRS Round 3 at Kent 15 July 2012
Most of those who've entered the Kent round should have received an e-mail confirming their entry - if you haven't, check your spam folders and log in to RC Race Control and check your entry status and e-mail address on file.
I'm speaking to the club to see how many heats we can realistically run so will hopefully be able to book some more drivers in over the coming days. Nitro rallycross entry is massively over-subscribed - if you have a confirmed entry and know you cannot make it PLEASE do the decent thing for your fellow racers and withdraw your entry in good time so I can let someone else race. I'm continuing to get loads of email bounce backs from confirmation emails as the addresses in the race control site are out of date so please check and update as necessary. If you booked in for the Swindon round but didn't attend you should have received an e-mail from me asking for confirmation that you are prepared to pay the outstanding entry fees at Kent booking in. I've heard back from some already and will be contacting others as I get to them in their booking in order. If the half dozen I'm waiting on don't reply by the weekend I'll assume they don't want to race at future SRS events and delete their entries. The meeting won't start till 10am, so on the plus side everyone gets a lie in, but we'll need everyone to help make the meeting run smoothly so we can finish at a sensible time. Hi all
I have now booked in 70 buggy drivers and we have a heat each for e-buggy and truggy Since many people booked in back in March and the e-mail addresses being out of date means a lot of the confirmation e-mails seem to be going astray I'm publishing a list of drivers with confirmed entries below. If you are on the list and CANNOT attend then please let me know ASAP - I have a list of over 30 drivers that would like to book in and we simply don't have space at the moment. If you don't show up on the day you will be expected to pay the entry fee if you wish to race at any of the remaining rounds. I'd rather people just let me know as I'd like to give all those that want to race an opportunity to do so. Here's an updated drivers list for each class, plus the list of reserves for nitro rallycross in the order they will be offered a space
Also to confirm that gates will open at 8am, booking in will run from 8.30-9.30 and the 1st heat will run from 10am. If numbers in the electric class are high enough for a heat of their own this will be run before 10 so leccie guys need to be ready by 9.45 just in case. It's likely that the heat will be mixed if we get any more dropouts so will have to be run after 10am. If anyone cannot make it then please message me through here/Maxbashing, e-mail or text (details on Race Control site). You won't get a response tomorrow but I will deal with it when I can.
