Default Longer Kyosho Vega Elite Chassis

Development parts filtering through on the Kyosho Vega Elite

Kevin Lee and I have been testing and developing the Kyosho Vega RB5 Elite for some time now.
The longer chassis was introduced at the BRCA Southport National where Kevin finished 3rd and I regained my F1 licence with this car and chassis.

Since then we have tested in all sorts of conditions from Dirt, to Indoor Carpet and high/low grip Astro.
The cars just work beautifully over jumps, bumpy sections and makes the Vega RB5 Elite even more stable allowing us to lay down the power so much quicker. Although Team XTreme is one of the smaller manufacturers, all their products simply spell the word ‘quality’ and now the tested good stuff you all see on the Team cars have filtered through into the production kits.

With Kyosho introducing the RB5 SP2 WC edition with all its goodies, there is no better time for the latest batch of RB5 Vega Elite kits to include the longer chassis at no extra cost to you. Every little helps in the quest to producing the ultimate 2wd mid motor conversion.
The longer chassis will also be available as an upgrade for all current Vega RB5 owners too.
Available from the 10th of November from stockist below

There haven't yet been any plans for the B4 or 201 longer chassis.
The rear weight that you may have seen on the Team cars are still being tested and at the moment are not production parts via RudeBits

Tony, do you or Kev find any reduction or change in steering with the longer chassis?

Hi tah, yes in fact on my car it lost a fraction of steering and allowed me to introduce it back in instead of finding ways to loose it. This is one of the factors the cars have been going quicker and quicker.

Thanks Tony,

The reason I ask is that I have been struggling with lack of steering...

need to check my set up, or start braking for corners again...

You just can't have the right set up if you're lacking steering.
Maybe you can do with the steering extensions but they are designed for he tight twisty type tracks.
Let's have you're set up and we can go from there.

Adam,i cant say about setup as iv not got a clue, what i found though is if i run my front hubs with the spacer on the top, combined with my shocks so they show 2 threads on the shaft,i couldnt get full lock because the axel hit the inside of the hub, also without the new steering arm, when i ran the hub with the spacer behind, the steering link hits the spring,i moved everything so it didnt catch or hit anything,i have more steering, also the vega steering thing really does help,i found it was like putting mini pins on the front..........

be good to see if this all helps sunday
