Yes, I've done some test with the tekin, no problem with it, good speed, good progressivity and no heat (5th led max)
I love it, but I dont really see difference between the ezrun esc.

Kedal, Do you have the hotwire? The tekin is good but you can add so much power once awaken with the hotwire.

No John, because I only use old G4 Mac, so no window to use hotwire.
I enjoy the Tekin without it, so it's ok for now

The metal one is very light, but I think like the stock one.
I tought the metal gear was for the solidity but... no

I just make a little mod on my Mad Rat to have a full bearing ball steering :

I drill the stocks holes to 6mm to put the standard steering bearing ball, no shim, no more clearance.

I'll test this mod on sunday during the race.

Default 2.nd in stock racing

Hi guys!

I just wanted to let you know that i placed second in general after 4 races (the 5.th was cancelled due to bad weather) in Fx Racing Electric Open Stock class.

The winner of the class was a HPI stadium truck, so between the buggies the Madrat helped me in front of 2 B4-s.

The podium picture:

Cheers,

Laci

PS: Elod could not come to this race, but he borrowed to me his car (thanks again) for parts .

Does the RB5 transmission/gearbox case fit straight in ? it really looks like it might, or at least with a couple other Kyosho parts?

I also got bored the other day while waiting for the mid motor parts so I made my madrat into a "long rat" with a spare truck chassis. I might drive it in a few days, I also have the front arms on back to front, but like this it's slightly too long fro ROAR rules but as far as I can tell would be legal under IFMAR. Anyway I think I'll spin the arms back around yet before I run it then it will be ROAR legal *just*. The turning circle is no good but I think for me it might be faster than the stock chassis since it'll be more stable and I can't drive like a pro anyway

I have driven the long rat! it goes pretty good, I think with some setting up it'll be fast but right now my old RC10 that I also drove is probably faster.

Here's the RC10, Positronic might put the long rat video later
