Thumbs up Ansmann W6 2.4

Hi Guys n Gals, just thought i'd put a post up as i purchased one of these last week and cant believe how good it is.

Features:
  • 3 channel
  • 10 model memory
  • Easy programming and operation via push and spin control
  • Servo reverse for all 3 channels
  • Trimming for all 3 channels
  • Exponential
  • ABS
  • Servo travel adjustment
  • Dual rate
  • Illuminated display
  • Battery compartment for LiPo and NiMH stick-pack
  • Fail-safe programmable
  • Receiver and transmitter come pre-linked from thefactory
  • 3-channel 2.4Ghz mini receiver R5

ive tried several handsets over the years but this feels comfy and a good weight, with a large selection of adjustments seriously cant fault it

Saw this transmitter on Sunday and serious considering selling my Spektrum DX3s! They look good value for the money!
Would like to hear other peoples thoughts about this transmitter before I take the plunge!!

Hmm, looks very much like the Flysky transmitter my friend just brought.. had a feel of it, and it certainly isn't bad for the money he paid, has all the adjustments needed to get going. The Flysky was a lot cheaper though... (almost crazily so!)

You're right, it's a Flysky gt3, just as the ansmann w5 is a flysky gt2.
It's Ansmann as always just sticking their name on it.

Agreed. The Chinese are churning out some real good cheap gear at the moment. There's no wonder they're the worlds largest economy.

If my Ansmann w5/r5 that came bundled with my rtr ever goes west, i'll be sure to get the Flysky gt3. Looks the business too.

I own the Flysky GT3b . While it does look nice there is issues with steering and throttle expo. Otherwise the radio works great and yes recievers are dirt cheap.

What issues are you having with the steering/throttle expo's?

The steering expo only works to the right side. The throttle expo doesnt work at all. Seems to have been a issue with the GT3b.

If they managed to fix those problem on the Ansmann radio then the radio is darn near perfect

3rd channel is under your thumb, 3rd channel trims and DR are also under you thumb... very very easy to nock and accisentally adjust...

Also, it doesnt like rechargable batteries... at nominal voltage it beeps battery low... Very annoying

I gave this radio a try too but I did't have problems with rechargable batteries.

The first thing I noticed that the expo isn't working. If you set the expo to a left bend curve for the right steering the left steering will follow a right bend curve. So you cannot use it at all.
Wheel and trigger both have a slip stop effect- I think this can be fixed with a little grease.
I will test this radio at the next races to check the transmisson. If the transmission is fine this radio is pretty good for racers who dont use expo and other specials.

hi guys! After all, i am still not knowing if the Ansmann W6 does have those expo setting problems or not. I would like to buy one,and could get it for about 90-100 bucks but i would like to know that it is a 100% working product, 'cas if its not, than a HK would be twice as cheep and the same quality. Or?
Cheers!
