Losi Shock Piston Chart - where?
Anyone know where I can get a Losi shock piston chart from...can't find anything on the Losi site?
Also, what does it mean when you have 555 piston, where one hole is drilled so its a 556? This confused the heck out of me. Maybe its quick simple though?!?

here goes then.
54 = blue 55 = orange 56 = red 57 = black 60 = natural Now if you have a 555 piston all 3 holes are drilled to an orange piston size (55), but if you have a 556 then you have 2 holes drilled to orange (55) and 1 hole to red (56). It's really only the last number you need to use from a standard piston to get your various piston combinations. hope that makes sense. PS Carl how is putting up a link to stuff you have for sale going to help with his question

Cheers for the help here guys.
Carl - your link is broken. Incorrect download. But thanks anyway. I've pooled some of this info and made a table if anyone needs a quick reference.

That is not technically right, there is no direct metric equivalent of the 'number' drill system used on losi pistons, trust me I have looked into this.
The correct 'number' drills are available though. G

Sorry to dig up an old thread but if i was to change from say a red piston to an orange piston, how much would I have to increase the oil thickness by to keep the damping of the damper the same so only the pack is effected? Is there a general rule of 5 wt change per piston variation or is it not quite so simple?
