Default TORCH 2WD/4WD Regional 26th July

The final rounds of both the 2WD and 4WD Mid South regional series are this coming Sunday at TORCH and we are really looking forward to welcoming you to the track.

Provisional timetable:

Booking in 07:15 to 08:00hrs
Practice (2 × 3 mins) 08:00 to 09:30hrs
Drivers briefing 09:35hrs
Qualifying starts 09:45hrs

Actual timings may vary dependent on final numbers but based on current entries this is going to be a busy meeting. If you believe you may be in an early heat please make sure you are ready for practice.

Please park considerately and leave room around the track for tents/gazebos so as many as possible can pit next to the track. We will have the field next to the track available for additional parking and pitting.

Please also remember we are on a working farm and therefore machinery may be moving around the site during the day - children must not play outside the pitting area.

DMS Racing and Rudebits should be in attendance so please contact them if you want anything specific bought along.

There will be a food van on site so please support.

Please ask any questions and we will try and get back to you as soon as possible.

See you Sunday

All Mid South Regional Racers planned to come to Torch for the final round of the 2wd/4wd. We are full go for the meeting tomorrow, we will achieve enough qualifying to complete the series. We planned to achieve a full meeting, but will delay at times for safety and practical reasons if the rain is significant. The weather looks mixed and we have good drainage in place to deal with major rainfalls. Look forward to seeing you all tomorrow.
There you go

What a shame is all I can say. Track was great, it would have made for some really good racing had it not been for the weather.
Big up to the torch crew for getting it through 2 rounds and it's never good making a decision to stop the meeting but the weather.......!!!!

I look forward to popping down soon with some better weather

Default TORCH Comitee

A great effort all round from ALL of the TORCH team to get even through 2 rounds of qualifying against the harsh elements.

Great job guys!!!

And thanks for all your efforts, as Duncan said it was a great track which would have made for some good racing had the weather permitted.
