As you can see in the shot the chassis has been milled out so the servo wire runs under the cells:

So here is the latest pic, Scott (Rebel RC) has got a anodizing machine and its gone orange! I will get this together shortly and give it another run, so far it goes pretty well on the high grip, just need to get some better set ups/weight distribution on the car! We have had some interest from the US about the car but have not drawn it in CAD yet, who knows if it will be released as a kit? It will prob be too expensive but we shall see.....

hi mark,

I'm liking the anodised chassis.... how about going Gold as an homage to the car's '84 roots?

Thanks for all the interest in the car guys!
Just to answer a few of your questions: It's exactly the same wheel base as a STD B4 Yes Tymill gold would be cool! We can anodise it any color you want!! Or maybe supply it clean ali and you get it done perhaps? Who knows it's early days! Its hand machines at the moment and we are not sure to put it into production? If any of you know how much something like this costs to CAD and CNC machine then please let me know. Big thanks to Aran for the design work on the SMR decals you can see on the car and Dave at A Signs for the decals and T-shirts! Basically you just bolt your B4 front and rear ends on the chassis, fit a low profile servo and saddle packs and your good to go! The shell you can see Scott (Rebel Rc) made from a pop bottle. I'll let you know some news if we can work out production costs etc! |

Cheers Aran, I'll be in touch about a new logo, I dont want to upset DMR!!
I just saw the logo on my bike and thought that will do for the petit as we were pushed for time, something a bit flashier will be on the horizon!! I think I need to get some cars made first before I worry about stickers! |
