theres some history (and bad haircuts!)

are they coming out to play again ? or destined to live in the loft forever
come on get them where they belong out on the track

very nice pair of buggies well done for keeping them I sold all my originals in them days to keep up with latest offerings wish I could have afforded to keep them

mind I cant be greedy I currently have about a 100 cars messing my house up !

Considering getting them going again, yes. I have a couple of RC10 builds on the go as I have an unused RC10 Graphite chassis to play with, plus i also have my original pair of Mids, a Yokomo 870c (which i ran before the Works '91), and I have also just tracked down my early CAT XL which i sold to a friend in the late 80's. Just trying to get my hands on it again....

Few other projects on the cards too. Only really getting back into this as a hobby in the last month or so, but I can see how easily i could get drawn back in.

Not ventured into looking at the new electrics side of things yet. Still enjoying looking at the old cars for the time being. We never chucked anything away so i've got loads of unused tyres and spares still in the bags. Amazing what has survived really.

Here's a bit more.... RC10 chassis, A&L belt-drive transmission and matching A&L steering set up (pics don't show it very well but they're both a lurid lime green colour), Robinson Racing rear toe-in adjuster, and some really cool Raborn Racing deep-cut rear wishbones to house the Raborn telescopic RC10 rear drive shafts. The RC10 alloys in the above picture are made by T&A Precision.

Here's the old kit box... all sorts of treasure in there!

Couple of slope chargers and two JR Apex 40Meg radios also.

Blimey, I remember when they first came out. I didn't know they'd done different versions of the Predator?

I wanted one SOOO badly. Then I saw one at a meeting and every time it touched something it was out of the race. I think it was the front arms that kept snapping as they were too thin/brittle? (I have it in my head that they designed them in a wind tunnel?). Was it just the early ones that were as resilient (or not?) as Daniel Sturridge?

Beautiful design.

The later cars had significantly beefier section wishbones with strengthening webs.

Have a look at this thread for more details:

I've used some self adhesive foam under it.
