Alex. The best shell I have found for clearance is the proline bulldog. The ftw vane gives good clearance also but I have found that the shell is to brittle and splits very easy. The new shell from the 22 2.0 looks good aswell with good clearance.

Hope this helps

That's really nice

I'm still using my proline bulldog one on my 22 2.0...still works a charm

Here is my 22 2.0 with the new cab forward body. I think it looks awesome, really aggressive. I'm another who can't wait to run it

It does, totally transforms the look of the car imo. I recon looks alone is worth 1/2 a second a lap

Cool paint job! I did mine myself, long wait at the painters shop and I wanted it now! Well for this weekends racing.

Looks good George,Got the 2.0 yesterday. Going to build it up for Sunday HNMC winter series round three.
Ordered all the bling bits aswell but will have to run standard until they arrive.
Have been debating about a change in cars and with the 22 4 coming out,its back to my roots.
Have been watching the 2.0 going round at Maritime and its night and day different from the old 22.
We will see Sunday mate.

You will love it mick. Best kit ive built for sure and is awesome out on track. I just need to find a little bit more front end on hairpins when its wet and its absolutely dialled, but i think thats just tyres. Its so easy to drive hard and consistantly even when the conditions arent great as they were last time out at coastal.

Great job there Paul. How are you finding it with the shorty. Have you tried saddles aswell to compare?

Disapointed with the durango v4. So when TLR came out with the pics of the 22 4 it was a no brainer really. Had to wait for santa to bring the 2.0. Hopefully have it ready for Sunday at HNMC winter series. Will have to stay with standard shell at first until cab forward one arrives. Was advised to get the rear ally camber block M/M as plastic one is a weak link. Also getting the front one just to be safe. 210 has been ok but fancied a change. Ben is running a v3 now so will get my DARC when the 22 4 arrives.

Ive never seen or heard of either of the camber blocks breaking but the alloy upgrades look sweet so why not.

Nothing wrong with the standard shell either but the cab forward just looks so aggressive. Im sure you will get it built by the weekend mick. Its a lovely build. Enjoy.

Love the look of that shell.

Is that a TLR product or is it J concepts, Proline etc?

Its the TLR cab forward shell for 22.

only ran shorty lipo. Reason is the car rolls a lot as it is saddles will help the car roll which isnt good for corner speed. This is indoor on high grip. Outdoor bumpy prob saddles be better

Ive been running mine as kit setup aswell on the astro mick. Been awesome so far. Took tq and the win last time out at coastal. Like i said before its really easy to drive, im just after a little bit more front end when it gets moist and it will be spot on, but i will try some silver lp cut staggers or maybe even front bb spikes.

George, you could drive a tamiya frog and still beat everybody
Maybe the cab forward shell may add a bit of front end? But at low speed might be an idea to add some weight to the front, either by adding weight or moving lipo forward?
