Default Evo III offroad

Trying to convert my Evo III to run offroad ala Mike West and Richard Isherwoods.
The whole b4 rear end bolts on and the front end shouldnt be too hard either. Just sorted out the drivetrain today after lots of scratching my head, finally got a dremel and im finally getting somewhere.

Bear in mind the shock towers brackets are merely to see how everything works.
Will need to get a chassis made once everything is sorted.

Aha, Im not that silly, Ive not touched a single original part apart from the main driveshaft which was replaced with the lightweight one anyway. All the red parts and chassis and towers are untouched just incase I wanna run touring again

Just a question. Ive got some glass epoxy, think its G11. Ive tried cutting it with a dremel but it takes ages and the hacksaw also takes ages. Would a jigsaw work?

Now get proper Kyosho slipper plates. Drivetrain now smoother and slipper secure but still needs some washers. Using original CF top deck now, will get pics up tomorow

are you using the original length chassis from the tc or are you using a lengthened one if you are using the short your car will not handle it will be way too twitchy
As for your slipper you are on the right lines it looks the same as our evo 4 rb
If you need any help or advice re the conversion come and see me at any of the ne regionals and i will try to help
Ps i am the owner of the 3rd rb

I'm using DF-03 arms on a YR-4 chassis. They sweep forward in the front and backward in the rear, which make that the short wheelbase of the Yr-4 is now 280mm just like most topcars out now.
