possible??
hello! i'm an italian boy
i race with touring car (kyosho tf5 + novak 10,5) but... i have an old kawada sigma and i'd like to trasform her in a 4wd buggy... i thought to change the arms, the "semiassi" and the shocks... i wanted also to build new shock towers and buy off-road tires i'd use this car to enjoy myself in the mountains (i thought to trasform it in a truggy...) and in the rc track near my house... i'd use a lrp pro sport no limit and 12 turn motor with gp3300-3700 or intellect 4200 (when i'll become better...) what do you think? can i do it? |

It is possible. Someone in Japan has done one:
The website I saw it on is here: http://pds.exblog.jp/pds/1/200506/03...3_11552418.jpg The Sigma is still a good touring car - I have the Sigma 2 and it has proven to be just as good as the current cars.

I had a second-hand sigma in my left hand and what looked like fitting buggy arms in the right on my last vist to the LHS. But put everything back.
I have a YR-4 based buggy already and really would prefer to use an axle driven tourer as base for another buggy project. Just can't get my mind to thrust an open belt drive for offroad. Though, one thing is even worse: a belt that takes dirt to the inside of the further geared box. Learned that the hard way after I did a 4wd ultima. I thought I had isolated the belt pretty well, but 1 battery was enough to destroy all the internal gears, even the ones in the geardiff |

anything is possible if you take your time when planning it and researching parts!
