I believe that to be an opinion and not necesarrily fact based on people using 2wd front spikes at Tivvy. My local shop has them in stock as I bought 2 pairs last week so they are commercially available as far as I'm concerned.

Seems Stu has emailed Paul Worsley (according to that other thread) to get this officially clarified.

well it looks like its going to be wet for the weekend so ballistic buggy it is

mark from CDS will be going to cml wednesday/thursday so if you want any ballistic's phone him on 01527 577175 and i will bring them with me friday. payment to mark on phone or me trackside is fine.

You should be able to run the BB 2wd fronts as they are still in the shops and you can still get hold of them. They don't make them any more but that will not make them illegal. They have been manufactured in mass and they are ok to run if you want. The rule is to stop one off specials for team drivers I think. Last year people ran losi 6 rows at telford in the wet and they have not made them in 5 years or so and that was ok!

run them, they will be fine
