What a kick in the bollocks this news is It was and is a great venue, it's a real shame that things have transpired against us. Lets turn our efforts in to finding something bigger and better for the future now. Onwards and upwards lads. Lets keep this ball rolling!

Hi Lads,

Chin up & all that

The Naul has proven that the club is capable of running and organising some of the best, if not the best, RC offroad racing in Ireland.

I'm sure with all of our collective efforts we can come up with another venue as good if not better

Kevin

We will get something sorted. There is enough people to make it happen. I am grateful to you guys at DMCC for having the energy and commitment to set this up in the first place, it really is the best venue about. Please keep us all posted on developments. I will not make it down this Sunday unfortunately due to other commitments.

What a kick in the hole lads but fingal county councils plans for the proccess plant is not going ahead as they no longer do the waste and also as i am a member on drift ireland and have been to the naul for track days there is roumours and chat of it going back to there on there forum

the old rates where a driver and car 50 euro but that is being increased so times that by 50euro and 50 cars

As i am only new to dmcc its a shame and look forward to racing whatever the outcome in forth comming seasons

Latest news is that The Naul is definitely not on the cards.
Waiting for a few people to come back to us with other local options.

IMPORTANT

Hi all,

We are waiting for news from several sources regarding options to Griffeen Valley, but at the moment we don't have any options confirmed.

Because of this, we may have to postpone the EGM - I will confirm in the next couple days.

If you are planning on traveling to the track on Sunday just for the EGM and not for racing, please let me know so that I can keep you updated and to make sure you don't make an unnecessary trip.

Regards,

Will

Hi all,

There have been some interesting delevopements over the last week.
We have been offered a 3/4 acre site off the main N2 at the Ward, north co. Dublin.

The site is very secure, well sheltered and we can do what we want with it. At the moment it has a flat clay surface on it with a slight gradient so drainage should be good. It is bordered on two sides by ditches/fencing and on the other two by a roadway.

The site is near a large petrol station and is only a stones throw from the back of Dublin Airport. There is a huge amount of parking/pitting space and there may also be a chance of mains power onto the site for charging/lighting.

It has been suggested that the club leases the site for a few years so that a world class track can be properly developed. The cost of the lease has yet to be negociated.

I'm viewing the site tonight with Ian and will fill everyone in at the work days over the weekend.

Will

Hi all,

A committee meeting has been scheduled for next Tuesday evening, so we'll have news and a plan after that.
