Check the following:

1) Did you compress the spring before the diff build.
2) Are the thrust washers in the right order.
3) Did you install the circlip the right way.

If you've been letting it slip a while then you could've possibly damaged the main diff balls as they're made of cheese.

With regards to having no drive in the car, to whats already been suggested:

There's 3 screws which go around the Layshaft and tighten the motor plate to the gearbox. If you over tighten these, they will stick out past the motor plate and bind on the slipper plate causing the whole gearbox to lock solid. Check those 3 screws and make sure you have the correct orientation. Page 26. Part no. 705026 & 705027. You may need extra spacers/shims under the screw heads to space them out.

If this doesn't solve it, its a case of dissembling the gearbox backwards to identify where you've gone wrong. Good luck.

I had the same problem. The screws made contact with the slipper. Losen a bit and you will be fine. I had to turn round the slipper pads because the overheated while I was searching for the problem.
