My ones came through the post on Saturday, got them from Stella Models in Hk, fit is as per alloy hubs.

Pic of the hub :

It maybe hard to see but it straightens out the rear camber link
on the Vega, L/H side if looking from the front has the plastic hub fitted, the R/H side has the alloy tamiya hub fitted.

Default Bearing size

What size ball bearings does the new hub take?
The outside bearing looks larger than the inside bearing. Thanks!

Not sure on the exact size but yes has a larger outer bearing, it all fits straight on with std bearings and crush tube.

Have a look at 511 manual as this should show bearing sizes

Would guess same as on 201 alu hubs, 1350 outer bearings.

So the larger bearing that came with the 201 alu. hub fits directly onto this hub? If so, it is a 1350. The standard plastic 201 hub uses 1050 size. thanks again!

Yes if you have the Ali hubs its a direct for bearings and crush tube

Didn't feel much of a difference tbh compared to the Ali hubs but loads of link positions to try out
