i would say no due to the diff use 10*15 bearing instead of the old that used 8*14

the other stuff hm , the top gear making the old diff no no

what if some one took the new diff and took it down the bearing rests to hm .....like 8mm that would make it

It'd be nice if I can fit the slipper on an original ultima and optima gearbox. Then again my ultimas mostly have received different gearboxes already, and I've not run the optima in the about 5 yeats since it was restored.

Most probabbly the newer gear boxes will bolt right into older chassis, it's just a matter of time to see new optimas being parted and sold for parts.

Being a fan of Kyosho since the days of the Optima, and ever since, I'd love to review one. Been reviewing things on a regular basis for over a year now, but I guess you have some fixed number of people already that do all the reviews of new Kyosho stuff, right?

Anyone know when the kits start arriving in UK? I've heard 10th April but not sure if that is official?
Can't wait...

Snap

And now to build. I'll post another shot of the completed re-re next to my original (admittedly not completely original - with some upgrades on it such as gold shocks and a belt)

Are you building this with belt or chain?

I was going to go with belt. I also have a spare pair of option house gold shocks, but suspect the new red ones will be better than the old golds.
So far the build is very smooth. Going together better than I remember it from the past...
