If you've not seen or been to CMCC since the astro track has been changed, here's a video I took on my phone at one of the thursday night club meets

I haven't got anything of the grass track, I don't think it's changed though. I had heard that the triple won't be in use if it's still there because of the new rostrum position. Saying that I've not been there for a few months now, so it could have changed.......

Yes the back part of the track is slightly further away! The main straight is now where the old rostrum and pit lane used to be. The new rostrum location has been moved slightly into the grass track covering the really bumpy section and man hole.

Personally I think there is more grip as they have used new astro turf. It's not as high grip as silverstone in my opinion though.

Well i'm nothing to do with CMCC, so I could be wrong, but I'd guess it would be behind the dirt track (to the left of the grass track if you're stood on the rostrum).

I have been asked a pertinent question --

What time does booking-in open on Saturday (and Sunday)?

And the expected time for practice to kick off too.

As far as predictions - I hope Charlie is right We are looking to stuff a couple of drivers up near the top. If we don't, we'll have fun trying!

Your wrong the astroturf track has not long been relayed, and had a fair few new features added, so there has been none of this practised on again and again.

Oh that's good then, there will still be 3 or 4 locals in the A, bring it on I say, you doing it Brian?
Why are people so bloody defensive? Makes me think that they are covering up something!

Hi all Dude from CMCC
Just returned from racing in the shortcourse nats in the wind, Fun!
The new layout on the Astro has made more options for 1/10th circuits and Yes the back straight is further away , the planned layout does not include the back straight.
The Video clip was still work in progress but does give you an idea of the new sections.
Grip is higher than the old astro turf.
Camping is trackside on our grass pitting area between the grass and dirt track.
