Default What's the best buggy for my son?

Hi guys,

What would you recommend as good micro buggy that my 4 year old soon can learn to drive with?
Looking for a RTR kit that I can get spares for when he breaks it.

A Google search brings up plenty at around £60, but are they any good?

Any info gratefully received and if anyone's looking to sell a decent kit, please feel free to PM me.

Thanks
Martin

i'd recommend the losi mini 8ight,
the new car now well newish is the carisma gtb but its diffs are uncovered so not good for outside or anywhere on dirt or gravel,
the mini 8ight diffs are totally protected and its shaft driven so not much chance of anything going wrong,
my son has one and i have one and still race it againnst all the carismas,

the only mods you will need to make it virtually indistructable are cvd's on the front LOSB1867 and alloy pivot blocks LOSB1885 on the front, ( you can get cheaper pivot blocks from hk on ebay, )

and a hammer to bend back the alloy front shock tower every now and then, lol

brilliant car for a kid and a solid car with parts available still everywhere. you can get a second hand one between £60 and £130 now, depending on what comes with it,

do not bother with a cheap car, the plastic will be rubbish and you'll end up regretting it....
