Default Bring back buggys 2

Eastbourne Electric Car Club and 1066 Racing are pleased to announce the return of the buggys.

It has been a number of years since EECC have hosted an off road meeting but along with 1066 Racing we are going back to our roots for a one off special.

The weekend is aimed at having fun along with racing. Saturday the 19th of September the track will be open for timed practice race day being Sunday the 20th. Camping is available if you wish to save some travelling.

Classes raced will be 2wd, 4wd, Short Course and Retro. The retro class is aimed at those that want to dust of there old buggy or truck and want to have a bit of fun.

Cost of entry is £8 and £4 for any additional class entered.

There will be 3 qualifying rounds and 3 leg finals for all classes.

As usual EECC Burger Chalet will be open for the weekend offering hot food, cold drinks and the usual tuck shop items.

Saturdays practice will be half hour slots for each class depending on the numbers entered in each class, to even out the running.

Sunday, the gates will be open at 7, practice will start at 8 and racing starting at 10. Giving everyone a chance to grab some breakfast from our fantastic food chalet.

We look forward to seeing lots of you for a great weekend of racing.

Yeah we knew about the clash but we only had a couple of dates available and the 20th was the one that originally didn't clash with some other local clubs who then decided to put a meeting on as well!!

We will no doubt be doing it again next year and will endeavour to sort a better date out. Still a good turnout nonetheless and a good time had by all
