lazer alpha bargain?

Hi, I'm a newbie buying a few bits to get started. Got everything to start a 2wd car then saw this on ebay and got it for a VERY low price. It was all last minute and I dont know much about the Lazer Alpha. Is it an old model? Any good? CHassis and esc included. Any advice welcome.

think it's a pretty old model. you may struggle with spares, and it probably won't be that competitive to race against more modern cars.

Thanks Jim, figured it might be an old model but it was cheap as chips. Be good to bet up and run for fun, or even enter a club run for practice. Cheers mate.
