Default Todays Racing

We all had a very good days racing today. The track was just the right mix off carpet and slippy surface, so thanks to the individuals who designed and layed out track. We had 6 fullish heats today, one of the best turnouts for the indoor meeting's we have had for ages. I would also like to everyone who stayed behind at the end of the meeting to help put the track away. Thier were around 20 of us and the track was put away in around 20 mins result. Also thankyou the juniors for helping to put the tape up from the hall floor. Lets hope this help carries over to the rest of our meeting. Thanks to all.

Yes, probably the smoothest clear up I've seen.

Rog has promised better quality duct tape next meeting, so hopefully no more moving track!
I felt todays track had a good flow to it and despite not quite ending up as planned the table top worked fine. Considering all we had was a single table top, a crashmat banked bend and some slippery floor it didn't feel touring car like at all.

Excellent day.
Track was awsome, really flowed well and all the features worked well.
4wd final was proberbly the best race ive ever been involved in.
Saw steve nearly a lap infront of me after lap 2, managed to reel him in over the next 6 minutes (not easy as he didnt make a mistake) passed him with 2 laps to go, only for my speedo to thermal on the very last corner!
Thanks guys!!!

I do like this venue, track did have a good flow to it and was good for racing with plenty of opportunity for overtaking, I enjoyed the track and the racing

The 410 that thought it was a basketball made me chuckle

Yep, great track, meeting ran like clockwork... well, only one blue screen of death. Thanks to everyone who helped clear up.

Chris, you were unlucky there, i was pushing really hard those last three laps or so and not gaining enough ground to catch you. Very successful first run for the 44.2 though so i'm well pleased

Thats the beauty of 4wd, alot more forgiving on the setup side of things.
2nd time ive ever ran a 4wd and not changed it since i last ran it once outdoor, and was really nice to drive. Your 44.2 looks very well planted

Glad you all liked the track and thanks to Woody for the advice building it. It did work well so I'm well pleased.
Meeting ran brilliantly today and good to see such a good turnout. A great A-Final in 2wd despite the ever changing track ha! Looking forward to the next round. I wondered what had happened Chris...thought you were being sportingly to let Steve win!
If you would like me to design a track again for the next meeting I can.

Chris

When you have a pretty poor final where you miss the loop and have to drive back around a quarter of the track to make sure your lap counts but have the most fun you've had in a few weeks, you know that everything from the track to the company to the smoothness of the meeting was of a high standard
Made a massive difference putting the track away in the nearer store room
