I have been running the Turnigy esc every week for the last 6 months without a hitch.
For the money I really cant fault it.
The others I have no experience of so can not comment.

Edit. You will need the programing card as it comes with boost preset

i know this is a thread from august 2015 but new people start the gt12 class all the time so if they too are asking the same question they can get an idea too of whats good,

i use a speed passion reventon pro 1.1EX in my gt12 ,
i am on my 2nd as the first one had the voltage booster fail in it but ive been racing the replacement nearly every week for over a season and its been great,
i'm not in the A group but thats down to my racing and lack of setup,

i cant fault the esc, but i do know most people where i race use the hobbywing v3.1

Hobbywing v3.1 is one of the best and most popular with the top drivers, sky rc is good.

Yes, but you will need a booster for receiver and servo. Rc dynamics seems to be the most popular one.

In the manual it does say you need a booster for 1s (3.7v ) operation:

1S LiPo Usage: the Comet can operate with lower input voltage then 7.4V but be aware that you need to run a receiver battery or „RX-booster“ when you‘re using a 1S LiPo or 4cell NiMH battery pack as it doesn‘t have a built-in booster.
