Default Best Motors for sensible coin.

My 2nd Quad is coming together. This time a 450. Again with KK board - but the intention is to put a camera (Go Pro) on it / under it.

To that end I want some well balanced - decently powerful motors. The Turnigy SK3 range I have on my little 330 are ok - but quality doesn't seem top notch as some feel smoother / better balanced than others.

After lots of trawling the web / forums i'm thinking:

These are No1 choice - http://quadcopters.co.uk/t-motor-ms2...otor-634-p.asp

No2 choice is a set of Sunnysky motors from Banggood or similar. - http://www.banggood.com/Wholesale-Su...r-p-60600.html

Then there's the Keda range at Giantshark.

Don't know what to do
Also esc's not sure what to do for the best there either as I have 5X 18amp BNIP Turnigy Plush esc's that I could use - but i'm thinking they aren't up to the job...

Any advise guys?

The turnigy plush esc's are fine buddy.
Remember, with a camera onboard you won't be flying the same way as without - it's all about smooth rather than aggressive so current draw is substantially reduced. I know of loads of people with 18amp plush on 450's with no problems.
I'm not up on motors, but of those listed I'd go for the sunnysky ones from banggood (I'm interested in those myself so you can be my guinea pig...)

My 450 is currently unbalanced in both prop and motors (ie I've not balanced them) and fly's fine - might be down to abit of flex in the arms though

Cheers Col.
Might just stick with the 18 amps Plush ESC's then.
Some motors (200Watt+) like the NTM Prop drive suggest around 30 amp ESC's and I know the DJI 450 comes with 30 amp ones too.

DJI 330 comes with 18 amp ones though and they are the same motors!

Ive only read good stuff on the SunnySky motors - and they look good value - so may wait till they are in stock at Banggood

Col.

Might be a good choice of motor - but buying them from Banggood was not a good idea

Just checked my order and it's not shipped yet - in fact the motors are out of stock and my order is on backorder... bummer as I waited until the motors were in stock before placing the order.

Wouldn't let that bother you too much...
Banggood is pretty poor at updating order details, and I don't think they use tracked delivery anymore either. My last order (which was a little while ago) showed as sat there until a week before it arrived, and postage had taken just over 1 month...
