www.racing-cars.com for the manual in PDF format and then look at page 5 / 6 / 7 it doesn't mention the washer in that place.

The washers are to go between the 2 ball cups on the link between servo horn and steering assembly if needed. ie used to lengthen the link if needed.

Its at the bottom of page 6,
step 9D --- Its saying to put the washers between the ball cups on the link and not behind the ball cup like you have done. This is a build photo of mine... for reference |

The scores are on the inside of the body were the piston go's up and down. The plating has come off. It's probably a process problem. No big issue it happens

People are saying that the coating inside the shocks are coming off, thats not the case at all. I just finished building the kit and saw what people have been talking about. It's left over material from the plating process. In other words the shocks are dirty. All that has to be done is spray them well with car deagreaser and wip the left over residue. You can repreat the cleaning a couple of times to be sure. That should remove all the little shiny bits that make it feel rough.
That being said the suspension is super smooth thanks to those BIG BORE shocks, can't wait to get this car on the track

Gearbox troubles during testing today at my local track. 1 of the o-rings on the layshaft gear fell apart leading to the pin finding its way into the gearbox and stuffing up the 3 gears. Fair play to Schumacher, I rang them and they are sending replacement parts asap. Big thumbs up for customer service.
