Simon Overall who won 2wd rolled over them in his last qualifier and got his best time and round score by a long way as well. Not sure what he was doing in the final.

In the final i jumped the double every time until the last lap when it made sense to roll over them. I think it's 0.5 to 0.75 seconds a lap quicker to jump which is going to save 6 to 9 seconds a race, its a lot of time to save but did anyone manage to jump them every time?

Nope, not me. typically I needed marshaling twice a race on the double, 4 seconds each so still 1 second quicker than rolling them. Still high risk though, given the amount of breakages on that one section alone.

bit of a mad one for me, never snapped anything on my d4 before or crashed a real full sized car before. Managed both that day

never drove a track quite like that before but thought it was ace, just need more practise. Also learnt what setups dont work, which is valuable experience too.

and the limitations of a suzuki jimny when cornering. hmmmmmm

cheers for a good event though

twice a race plus the 2 seconds per lap you lost with the BIG AIR time you animal.....

griff, i was hoping as i was marshalling the top 4wd heat i wouldnt have many to put back on there wheel's...how wrong i was the first 3 times per round were marshalled within 3 seconds m8, after that i lost interest :-)

I ran a Kyosho lazer RTR bog standard car (with a bullet shell) and loved it.
Didnt break a thing all day and was impressed with the way it handled...

Still got a lot to learn in the driving dept... but will up my top end speed for the next meet.

A great day out
