My first run was last Sunday at Worksop indoor series. I finished 69th out of about 100 drivers. Had probs with back end breaking away but still, not a bad result for me seeing as I finished in the bottom ten with my 2wd in the last round.
Keep an eye on the servo saver making it's way loose, mine did!!!.
Put a spot of thread-lock on it if you get chance. I've spoke to a few others and they've had the same prob's.

Happy racing.

I was in the G final. Started 9th and finished 9th. You can tell my car,its plain blue colour. I did it myself!!!. I've also been told that the diff oil is not heavy enough, that's why it was breaking away(even though my back tyres were shot in final). Some people are running 12000wt upwards in there's so I'll have to get some before next round.

I found the car very quick and it surprised me how good the car was in my hands. I've got the brass weights on the back but it's still a little front heavy.
To say it was my first run straight out of the box I had a good day on Sunday.
The build set-up is a good starting point in my humble opinion.

Hello Brooksy, I ran mine at the Players meeting at Worksop, I ran practice with all the brass weights on and the car wanted to break away in a straight line!

Took all the weights off for the next run and it was night and day different, very composed. It stops the rear swinging round with the weight transfer.

If you go on the Durango website, check out the set up sheets from Worksop, and look at either Damian Whittle or Graham North for a steady base set up.

Yes Reg, see above. Check out the Durango website set up sheets. Each sheet will tell you what the track was and the prevailing conditions. Match that to where you race and go through your car matching the set up.

It should give you an idea from a number of drivers perspective.

Steady and safe, we're getting (well, some could say you've got) old!
