Default 40MHz crystals

Does anyone regularly use an 40MHz radio for club meets, as i've bought one to (temporarily) replace my old radio which went loopy during the last club meeting.

The radio only came with one set of crystals witch are on channel 51, and i could not find a spare set which would be here in time for the next club meet, so i though it best to let everyone know in advance that i'll probably cause widespread radio havoc next meeting.

Most people don't use 40-mhz anymore so you should be fine. I do have some crystals that you are welcome to have next time I come down to NBC.

Cheers

should be fine ben, most are on 2.4 so running 40 shouldn't be a problem, I do have some crystals that may work with your radio should we need to change. But TBH I shouldn't think there will be any problems
