I actually like that idea. Not sure about the 5 feet long leads they're connected to though

LONG WIRES !!!! @ Doddy

Yeah Phil, looking at them I will cut them down a little.

Was trying to keep the positive wire under the flexing brace.

Default Velcro

Hi Tony

Looks like you got some Velcro on the edge of your chassis ?

Have you created a tray or is it glued to the edge ?

Cheers

I always use Velcro across the complete chassis and shell to stop crap getting in.

The shell is quite a tight fit with the chassis, so I dremeled the black anodizing of the side and supper glued the Velcro on (very small amount of glue)

I also have the front body mount installed as this will help keep the body on LOL!!

IMO - You don't want to run a under tray ever as this opens a can of worms with regards to handling and ground clearance ect ect......

One tip I will give you guys is run button head screws in the rear rear AS block not counter sunk. This gives a small amount of clearance at the back if the car and helps to stop the chassis rubbing at the very back.

I can see what you're saying and totally agree it would save the chassis from wear. Will the button head screws not give uneven location of the toe block? On the otherhand the countersink will always put the screws to the center of the holes and thus always line the block up tru every time.

The chassis isn't exactly an expensive item, so I don't see the problem with leaving it as standard. If you're really worried, just slap on some chassis protector.

Totally agree on the velcro idea, thats what all the team guys did with the pre-release cars.

Not exactly a work of art, not exactly inspiring colour scheme but only went for the black as temp quick fix to get it running and actually starting to really like it even though my 2 year old is convinced its the Batmobile!

Anyway part im most happy with is inside which i cant take credit for, Darren at DMS witnessed my original handiwork while in the shop and decided that it was inappropriate to let me run a BT connection box on wheels, immeadiatley confiscated said disgrace and returned it following day all pretty and organised, top man, thanks Darren!
